I love pizza, well, basically I just love food. But I am a mid-west girl and come from the town that has Harris Pizza. This is the best pizza ever, well, that is until I sample some pie that is better than Harris. I’m always on the search for yummy tasting pizza. I came across Jared Metz’, a New York business man in the funding business, blog about the world’s best pizza. Of course, I had to read where the world’s best pizza exists, which is Brooklyn, New York.

In Jared Metz’ blog, he described how the pizza is made at Di Fara’s Pizzeria. The tomatoes on the pizza are imported from Salerno, Italy. I had to wonder what the tomatoes from Italy taste like and how are they different from American tomatoes. There are three types of mozzarella cheese spread on the pizza. And, again, one type of cheese is from Italy.

There are other interesting ingredients in Di Fara’s pizzas, i.e., fresh olive oil, basil that is grown by the owner of the pizzeria and Parmigiano Reggiano. Oh, the pizza sauce is homemade. There was no mention what was in the sauce. I tried to imagine how a Di Fara’s pizza would taste. I have to say, after reading Jared Metz’ blog, I have to go to Brooklyn and check out this pizzeria.
